Re: Transfiguration
Amanda, blinked hearing the last name. She barely ever spoke to her teachers with a question where they needed to say her name. She was so unused to her last name.. "Would points be taken off for the written parts of OWLs if some words are hard to read, but you can still read them, but barely?"

Re: Transfiguration
"If it is readable, no points will be taken off. But, we will preferably want you to write neating," Again, she cast a look around the room, her eyes resting on some people longer than others. "Be careful,"

Re: Transfiguration
Amanda looked at her notes, to the proffesor, and back at the notes. She knew how to write neat but it was not her favorite task. She continued her notes, thinking about how in the world she'd pull it off.

Re: Transfiguration
And Professor McConagall kept on talking about OWLS, and stuff like that. XP
Rachel was chewing on her quill, pulling tiny feathers off her quill occasionally. She looked down at her own notes, to check her writing. It was average, actually. It wasn't too messy, but it could be neater, if she put more care into it. So, she continued to write what McConagall said, and made an attempt to make it neater.

Re: Transfiguration
Amanda was writing very sloppy and as if she couldn't care less. The only real time she actually wrote neat was when she was writing a letter or on her homework Amanda's hand writing was average. She sighed, trying to figure out how to write neat alll the time.

Re: Transfiguration
[It's McGonagall. With a G. Not a C.]
Libby spun her quill around her thumb, looking at her notes. They were a little more on the neat side, since it was the beginning of the year. But, she knew that by the end, she would be fed up with writing and her writing would be nothing more than a messy scrawl. She would, this year, try to keep her writing neat, as OWLs were near the end of the year, where her handwriting got illegible.

Re: Transfiguration
(Oh really? XD)
"As I said before, this is the year where it times to think about your future. OWLs will affect what NEWTs you will take next year, what your job will be... so, you better start thinking soon!" And than, she changed the subject to what they would be doing in class today: reviewing switching spells.

Re: Transfiguration
Amanda's mind was elsewhere. How was she supposed to decide on what the heck she wanted to be? There were so many cool and lame jobs but what were her grades allow her to do? All this pressure would surely drive her mad.

Re: Transfiguration
Rachel quickly pulled out a spare piece of parchment, ripped a part of it off, and quickly wrote down a note, and she passed it to Amanda. The note said:
"Hey, do you know what you wanna be yet?"

Re: Transfiguration
Becoming green XD, after Amanda read the note she flipped it over on the back side. In her moderately neat handwriting she wrote,
"I have no clue.. Do you?" Amanda flicked this to Rachel.

"No! And, I don't excel in any particular subject either! I'm going to end up working at the bar in the Leaky Cauldron, or the Coffee Shop at the Ministry. And, those are like the lowest jobs you can get."

"Yes, but do you have the grades for that?" Rachel wrote back, crushing Amanda's dreams without realizing it.

"I have no clue <3. I haven't studied any of this hoopla. I wish it would be in bold letters saying 'DO. THIS.' But it's not soo...." Amanda wrote back, not even caring.

"Uh..."
And than, the bell rang.
"Your homework tonight is to write an essay on switching spells, and to continue working on practicing them. I want the essay to be twenty-four inches long. And spelling and neatness WILL count."

Re: Transfiguration
Amanda, who was leaning in her chair, fell back as she heard 24 inches. Her chair went flying down, only to be caught by the front of the desk behind her. Laughing at her own little fall, she sprung up from the chair, grabbing her notes and everything. Then she walked into the crowd of people and saw Harry. Rembering Olivia, she walked up to him and touched his shoulder. "Harry, I'm a jerk and I know it. I'm sorry."
