Hallowen Feast

Katie sat down, across from Serenity. She looked around to see if Fred was here yet, so if she made a mistake, he wouldn't know.
"I'm starving," She said, as her stomach growled.

"I agree," said Rachel coming in sitting down next to Katie. She than looked up at the ceiling. "I wonder how they get all those live bats in there. And how they don't get them to poop all over our food and stuff. Same thing goes with all the owls."

"Maybe they trained them to do it. I dont know for sure," Katie said, also, too looking up.

Serenity smiled, looking at the people instead of the silly bats.

Katie looked down, she seemed to have gotten dizzy. "Hmm. Wonder when it will start," she said.

And lo, the food appeared.

And Rachel began to pile sweet potatos onto her plate.

"OHMIGOD. FOOD."
Serenity, acting like a starving person, piled three huge chunks of pork on her plate, pouring out the barbeque sauce and shoveling mashed potatos on top of her concotion. Chopping it up, she mixed it together in an empty sidebowl supposed to be used for soup, and shoveled huge pieces out with a spoon, stuffing it into her mouth.

Katie piled Turkey, mashed potatoes, and turkey onto her plate, along with gravey on top, and she ate, like she never had eaten before.

Rachel stared at them both, especially at Serenity. I mean how, could people like THEM eat so much!? And about Serenity that was just... disgusting.

"How do you guys do it?"

"Eat like this? Oh, I typically eat healthy alot, and I work out alot.. although I'm not very good at it," I said, piling another huge slab of turkey and mashed potatoes with gravey on my plate and dug in, once more.

"Oh well, I've never had a big appetite before, that's all. Mum always said I eat like a bird."

Libby piled some food on her plate, and ate at a normal pace, unlike when she was younger. She had outgrown that embarrassing behavior. Or rather, embarrassing in her point of view, she thought, glancing at the Ravenclaw table. She eyerolled, mentally facepalmed, and continued to eat. Amanda and Kelsi hadn't come down to dinner yet, so she was alone. But, that gave her some time to let her mind wander while she ate; with no looking at the Gryffindor table, where Max was.

"Hmm," Katie said, in agrement, as she piled five more huge slaps of turkey, and greenbeans with gravey and salt on top.

"That's not eating like a bird, Katie,"

"No.. I'm eating like a bird.. a very,very hungry bird," she said, " And I'm full."

"Well," said Rachel pushing back her plate. "I'm waiting for all the candy and stuff to come out. That's more important than the dinner part, after all."

"I suppose," Katie said, sighing, "I'm tired."

"Go to bed, then."

"In fact, I think I will. In a bit," Katie said, yawning.

Serenity hadn't answered Rachel, she was too busy licking her plate. Finally stopping her eating- she had gotten four courses- she smiled up at Rachel. "Oh, I'm on a diet."

"What are you talking about!? You're skinny enough, you realize that!?"

Katie smiled, along with Serenity. Then she looked around for Fred.
