Breakfast, first day.

Kelsi walked on in extra early. She was dressed in her school uniform and had a strange feeling. Everybody seemed so much younger, except for the occasional older students. Or well, many looked older for her, since she was so short.

Serenity came in and walked over to Kelsi's table, leaning over.

She stole a bagel and munched on it. "So, Kels, how are ya?" Obviously, she was wearing her uniform, with her hair in a ponytail.

Kelsi brushed her hair out of her face. "Excited. I have transfiguration first! You?"

"Mm, potions. I got an A- and slughorn accepts those."

"GOSH I can't believe it's SNAPE teaching Defense against dark arts! It's going to be so annoying! And, we have some old fart teaching Potions!"

[[I've heard my mom use that. XD]]

Olivia walked over and stole an empty seat across from them. "Mornin'."

"Hey, Livi! Morning. What do you have first? And, Kels, he seems like an old sap. None of us got invited to the slug club, though, I don't think. He must be bitchy."

"Ugh, I think you have to be special or something. But hopefully I'll do better. And morning, Liv!"

"He's so fat! And UGLY!"

"I think I have potions first... I dunno, I took one look at the schedule and I was out." She took a banana muffin and began scraping the top layer off.

"Cool! I'll sit by you, if you'd like."

"I wouldn't like."

"Alright."

Kelsi grinned nervously. Soon their drama crap will be gone. "Umm, I'm not in potions. I didn't get enough..." Kelsi's face grew red. "I hate how I got so many low grades. It's so unrealistic, you know? I should be getting better grades."

"Yup."

"Some friend you are! You're supposed to go, 'Oooh, don't worry, it's alright, you'll be fine!"

"Well do you want my honest opinion? That's what being a friend is about. The ideal friend means nothing if you're not being honest to them. I would say- along with what I already said- I wouldn't care if I were you, potions is a waste of time. If you want an ideal friend, go search it on the internet. They'll have a few." Serenity said calmly, munching on a bagel.

"Ooh. Don't worry. It's alright. You'll be fine," Olivia said in a monotone, taking a bite of the muffin afterwards.

"... I was just kidding."

"Whatever."

"Hmph."

Kelsi grabbed a fruit scone and nibbled on the edges.

"Some chick woke up in the middle of the night screaming..."

"In your dorm? Did she have a nightmare or something?"
