Breakfast, first day.

"I dunno, but she woke everyone up."

"Ugh... Did you fall asleep after?"

"Nope..."

Kelsi grabbed a yellow and black cup and the coffee pot. She put some into the cup, and added some milk and suger. It turned a rich, caramel brown. Kelsi handed it to Olivia. "It'll hold you up all morning. Take some more at lunch."

Amanda walked in, looking a less made us than yesterday, but not completely plain. She wore a bronzey eyeshadow that belnded in pretty well, some light, light pinkish blush, and some simple jolly rancher flavored chap stick >

"I'll just sleep through free class or something. They can't possibly give us fifty feet of homework on the first day." Olivia handed it back. "I don't care much for coffee."

Amanda sat down beside Olivia, pushing her bright yellow hair band back in her hair. After grabbing a tall glass of milk and a uffin Amanda smiled. "Morning guys!"

Serenity looked at Amanda and resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Still playing with Mommy's makeup. There wasn't a stitch of makeup that was either difficult to put on or considered "woman's" makeup on Amanda, and sure, the eyeshadow would look good with a little more, but there was nothing to make her eyes dramatic and make her face look like it had a shape- not just a blob.
She sighed and grabbed a protein smoothie, drinking it furiously. It had ice cream in it, so she was happy with the quality and texture.
"I disagree- they probably can give us tons of homework. I wonder how I'll do in potions, though, with a new teacher. I'm sure a lot of people were being suppressed by scary Snape. I'll probably fail DADA, then. He always scared the crap out of me." She grinned and picked up her bag and stood up. "Hmm.. I might just have another smoothie.." She picked up another one and sat back down. "But, see, his hair is just so GREASY, I swear, and long, too. It's so creepy!"

"... So you're suddenly a make-up expert, eh?"

Serenity snorted on her smoothie, looking away to try to hide her choking laughs.

"Nah. I just have the last bits of Halloween make up I need to waste."

"... SNAPE'S TEACHING WHAT?"

"DADA I think, right?"

"Yeah," Serenity said, calming herself. "Did you leave early or something? Some fat pushover's teaching potions now."

Amanda sighed, "And I heard he's already picking favorites before class."

"... YES!" Olivia punched the air. "FREE OUTSTANDING."

Amanda bit a large chunk out of her muffin, then cringed a little. "I grabbed blueberry..."

Kelsi grinned. "I'll take it." She reached for it, and bit into it on the other side before Amanda could grab back.

"So... I have an idea." Serenity said, eyes brightening. "How about we all meet in our first corresponding free period, outside?"

"Outside, where? There's a lot of outside in the Hogwarts grounds, you know." Kelsi took another bite in the muffin, and took a swig of the sweet coffee.

"Under that big oak halfway down to the lake. It's got plenty of room. It'll be fun."

"Yeah, and the roots stick out of the ground, so we could sit on those.

"Perfect."

Kelsi brushed her hair out of her face. "Can't wait to start Transfiguration..."

"I can, actually!"
