Carriage #3

Olivia looked from Clyde, to Wallace, to Amanda. "Whoa. Awkward..."

Clyde laughed under his breath. "Hello. Wallace, won't you say hello? It's impolite not to."

"Hi," mumbled Wallace, who was looking down at his knees.

Olivia looked at the empty seat next to Clyde, then decided to just sit on Amanda's lap.

Clyde bit on his lip to start from laughing.

"GACK! LIV!" Amanda pushed her off of her lap.

But Olivia did not move. "Oh, please, you have no upper arm strength."

Amanda stood up, and sat next to Clyde. "There. Now sit."

Clyde stared at Wallace, as if saying, Make up with her! This is your alst chance

So Olivia took Amanda's spot and looked over at Wallace. She was trying to see if he really did sparkle.

Wallace cleared his throat. He found the staring very unnerving.

So Clyde mouthed, "Talk to her!"

He shook his head.

Clyde grinned. "So Amanda, Wallace has been dying to speak to you."

"Oh? Really?"

Wallace glared at Clyde. "I will strangle you, man. I will."

Olivia began picking at her cuticles.

Clyde smiled sickeningly sweet at Wallace.

"Wallace, spit it out. What do you have to say?"

[adverbs can modify other adverbs, sweetie.]

"I... I got my hair cut!" he mumbled.

"... K then."

Wallace looked at Clyde, smirking triumphantly. Olivia cleared her throat.

[She's saying that Clyde smiled sickeningly sweet at Wallace is bad grammar, and it could by Clyde smiled sickeningly sweetLY at Wallace, because they're both adverbs, and they can modify each other..]

Clyde sighed, "Well this is no fun."

"... Well, can't be that much farther," said Olivia, smiling fakely.

Amanda glared at Olivia as if getting in a carriage was all her idea.

"Soo... Uh..." Clyde tried to create a conversation.

"Hope it cools down soon. Sick of this weather."

"Yeah. But then we'll comlpain about the cold." Clyde said with a dramatic sigh.

"If you'd stay indoors you wouldn't have that problem."

"Either way." Clyde streched, yawning. "Wallace, what's your take on it?"

Wallace wasn't paying attention. He was staring at a small spider scuttling across the wall of the carriage opposite to where he was sitting.

Silence replied to his silence.
