Dark Arts .

Rachel poked Olivia, and leaned over and whispered in her ear. "This is terrible, teaching us black magic! Don't you agree?"

"You're kidding, right?" she whispered. "This is awesome!"

Libby was hurriedly writing down paraphrases of whatever Alecto was saying. But once he was doing the dark magic, all she could do was stare at him with her jaw hanging slightly open in disbelief. Were they REALLY going to be teaching dark magic?!

"It's terrible!" she whispered back. "Black magic is just disgusting. You know how many ways you can kill things with that stuff?"

Serenity kept waving her hand around in the air.

She nodded, keeping her eyes on the lesson.

Professor glared at them all. "Anybody want to demonstrate in front of the class. It's okay, it's a small practice. We don't expect you to get it right the first time. This is very complicated. And to teach such skills at an advanced age..." He stared at the empty hands in the class. "Honestly." He hissed at them all. "Show some pride, you fools!" He turned to Serenity. "You, girl. You seem eager to try this out! Get your arse up here and show us."

"I was just wondering, actually," Serenity said, not moving. "Why you're teaching us something that can be used illegally."

Rachel gasped and looked shocked. You had to be insane to cross this teacher.

Olivia facepalmed.

He stared at her. Slowly, he walked towards her. Then, he smiled falsely. "You should listen to instructions better, little lady. I said specially. It's illegal to the face. Because it could instantly kill someone, if getting into the body. Now why don't you come up here, and demonstrate?" He said through slightly clenched teeth. "Besides, the laws are changing now." he hissed. He was clearly trying to keep his temper, and his patience was very low.

"Alright, fine," Serenity said, standing up and going up there. "What should I do it on?" Your face?

He took out a small, SOFUCKINGADORABLEOMNOMNOM little Chinchilla and placed it on a stool. It was shaking. "This thing." He said with a smile. Then, he leaned in and whispered. "And I advise you to do it. Remember the speech last night." his breath smelt of smoke.

[OH GOD WHY]

Olivia's eyes widened. So there were other ways of killing someone with magic than just the regular old Killing curse...

(OHMYGOD.)

Rachel stared at it, for a second, her mind barely registering what was going on. And then it happened. Rachel suddenly screamed out loud, right into Olivia's ears, and she ran out of the room as fast as she possibly could, not caring if she got into any trouble or not.

"You bastard!" Serenity yelled. And then, being a semi-good student, she turned and shot the curse off at him.

Libby, our of pure shock, latched on to Kelsi's wrist as tightly as she could, digging her nails into her skin, looking like she was going to be sick.

"You retard," muttered Olivia, focusing on a cracked stone in the wall behind them.

Kelsi pressed her hand against her mouth. She squeaked quietly and her eyes widened sadly.

It hit him in the arm. "AUGH! You little b--" He grabbed her by the arm, and pressed his wand against her cheek. "You... GET OUT OF MY CLASS!" he screamed and threw her out. "I'll let the carekeeper find you. Get you into more trouble..." He spat at her and slammed the door. He turned to the front. "Anybody else want to come up here?! Or do I have to start picking at random?!"

Serenity put her middle finger in the door window and stomped off, looking around every once and a while, scared.

And then, without even realizing what she was doing, Olivia's hand shot into the air.

Professor pointed at Olivia. "Girl, get up here. Finish the job."

"Ah..." Her hand fell to the back of her neck. "I was stretching, sir, and..." Despite the excuse, she still felt compelled to obey. So there she was, staring down at the poor, helpless little mammal, wand at the ready.

Kelsi clapped her other hand to her mouth. She fought to keep her eyes open. This was HORRIBLE! So- CRUEL! And why was Olivia doing this?

"HURRY UP! WE HAVEN'T GOT ALL DAY!"
