Small Home in Japanese Seclusion

"Um, happy, mostly. I'm a little bit confused, because you're asking me questions.. I'm a little embarrassed, but I always am around guys. I guess I'm sort of in the mood for a good movie and some popcorn, too. Oh, but I sort of want to see my cat. I left him at home.."

Jake blinked. This was going to be harder than he thought. So, he decided to change the subject. "Wouldn't it be cool to be immortal?"

"No, not at all. I'd hate that, actually." Selia said, frowning. "People would die, and your life would just be sad, because everyone else would just be memories.."

"Oh... Yeah, that would suck."

"Um.. Yeah, it would. Do you, by any chance, want another massage?" She asked, grinning.

"YEAH." Jake bent his back over, for her to do the massage. He had his signature grin.

So Selia gave him his massage. "Hey, I wonder how Holly and Eric are doing.." She said.

"YES! LET'S GO VISIT THEM!"

"Um, how about tomorrow? It's Christmas.." Selia said. Truthfully, she just wanted to keep feeling his muscles.

"Yeah! But let's go. Just to visit them. Isn't Eric staying at Holly's?"

"Yeah. Tomorrow." Selia insisted. "Um, are your legs tensed up?" She asked. "I can fix those."

"REALLY? Please do." He was completely oblivious to the only reason why she was even giving him a massage.

"Great." Selia said, giving him a leg massage as well. She seemed perfectly satisfied with her life at the moment.

Jake flexed his toes. They crackled. "Haha, my toes are musical."

"Mmhmm~.." Selia said, closing her eyes and smiling.

"Why are you smiling like that?"

"Like what?" Selia asked, frowning. "I'm not smiling."

"You just were!"

"Really? Because I don't think I was!" Selia argued.

"Nooo, you were totally smiling!" Jake said while laughing.

"I'm not going to tell you why, even if I was smiling." Selia said stubbornly.

"Why? Tell me." Jake sat up. "Teeeeeell meeeeee."

"No." Selia said, crossing her arms and looking at the ground.

Jake went onto his knees and went into her face, staring her straight in the eyes. "Teeeeell meeee!"

Selia mumbled something incomprehensibly to him, trying not to look him in the eyes.
