Small Home in Japanese Seclusion

"No! Really! Tell me! I didn't hear you!"

"I LIKE FEELING YOUR MUSCLES!" Selia screamed.

"..." Jake didn't reply. He just stared at her.

Selia looked grumpy. "Do you want to go inside? It's cold."

"Oh, sure." He stood up. Hey, Selia, that's okay. I don't care. Well, sort of, but I'm sure I've freaked you out before. So hey, we're even!"

"Got it. We're even." Selia said, grinning. And then her stomach growled. "Food?"

"Sure!"

[[Likely getting off soon and won't be on most of tomorrow. Besides, that would be a bit weird to go to the Browns, as they're in Japan. o3o;]]

Jake was taking some leftover fried chicken and placing it into a bowl for them.

"Fried chicken, fried chicken, fried chicken.." Selia was chanting quietly.

Jake turned around with the plate full of warm fried chicken in his gloved hands. "Dig in!"

Selia grinned, took the chopsticks, and started eating it.

Jake just ate it with his fingers.

"This is the best chicken I've ever eaten.." Selia said between bites, a look of pure joy on her face.

"Tell that to my mom."

"I've never met your mom, what's she like?"

"She's... normal."

"Oh. Well.. That's great." She said, smiling, and eating more chicken.

"But, she's really strict."

"Oh, that sort of stinks." Selia made a little face.

"Well, at least she's not crazy!" Jake said, obviously referring to his grandpa.

"I agree with you, he's bonkers." Selia said. "Have you inherited it?"

Jake shrugged. "Some of it, I guess."
