"Wellll... bye everyone I'm going to go bug Olivia!" With that, Amanda skipped off.

Serenity sighed, walking slowly down the stairs, sniffling slightly and humming the disappearance of Hatsune Miku.

"Hey, Serenity, where're you going? What's up? Why is it that everybody is so miserable? It's flipping fourth year! We're all fourteen, and despite puberty, we should enjoy life as it is! So just let it go, whatever is bugging the crap out of you, and be a happy family!" Kelsi was in her counsilling/make miserable people happy mood. Normally she wouldn't bother helping them with stuff like this, but she really didn't understand why people can't just let it go and continue being themselves. What is it that they want? Can people ever be contently suited with what they have?

Serenity turned around and came back up the stairs at the same pace as before. "Really, Kelsi, life is boring. B-o-r-i-n-g."

"No it's not. Don't you have a wonderful life as a lovely person, and the guy of your dreams? He loves you, doesn't he? Just wait til we're out of this school. When we're 17, it's when it'll all begin."

"What do you want to do? I want to go out, and buy myself a wonderful house.. Get my own law firm.. Oh, it'll be just wonderful. And maybe, if I'm lucky, I can get married to Angel and we'll be happy, and have one or two little kids, and oh, I'll have a shoe collection that rivals Mariah Carey's! Oh!" Serenity leaned back, arms behind her head, looking up at the intricate workings of the clock high in the tower. "It's sort of funny, our lives are all tied together like clockwork. If one stops, or breaks, the clock of time freezes until it's fixed. Every single piece has to be there for the clock to work.. It's so amazing."

"I want to... just... umm... I dunno. I sort of wanted to live in some small cottage or something, but I really want to stay close to Hogwarts. Funny, I can't wait to bust out of the school, but I'm sure that once I graduate, I'm gonna feel at loss, and not really know what I wanna do. Except, imagine being an auror. That would be... awesome."

"Boooring," Serenity said, although she looked quite entertained. "Instead of fighting and dying, I prefer to do my fighting in a courtroom, unlike some aurors worth mentioning.. In their graves. You deliver the fugitives, I'll prosecute them, that's the way it works for me."

"All you do is sit around in courts arguing and yelling and stuff. I actually get to be open, and free, and run around and stuff. But, I might just want to stay at Hogwarts. Try out for DADA. You know? I don't care if it's jinxed. I might as well just get the same ending as Professor Lupin. Get caught being a werewolf and get sacked."

"Objection!" Serenity was suddenly standing up, pointing at Kelsi fiercely with her pointer finger, fire in her eyes. "We lawyers have more freedom then you, sent on undercover missions for weeks! Court is extremely exciting! There's all the records to file, all the wonderful contradictions, all the amazing evidence, ooooh it just makes me squeal! At least I can come home unscathed, while you, risking your life and having fun, can come home to your husband covered in cuts! I want to do what I love without the risk of hurting myself, thank you very much. Your honor, I think I have proven my point." Serenity sat down, grinning.

"Sure, whatever. I might not even do it, Serenity. So just because I point out I might want to be an Auror, doesn't mean you have to go all lawyer stuff on me. You people steal other's freedom. What if that person turns out to be some good guy who was in the wrong place at the wrong time? Besides, being a teacher sounds much more appealing."

"If the client's innocent, I'm converting to a defense attorney. But, when it comes to magical law, most cases are quite straightforward. Take the defendant's wand! Dust it for fingerprints! If wand was wiped, conduct investigation immediately to find out who may have touched wand! If defendant has confessed, immediate verdict! If defendant has not, more investigation is needed! Continue from there!" Serenity recited this at top speed, the entire procedure ingrained in her tiny memory.

Serenity stuck her head out the window, looking down at the people below. She saw Olivia and waved, screaming, "Olivia! Olivia! HI!"

Serenity put her head back in, sighing contentedly.

A few minutes later, Livi joined them at the top. "SERENITY. HELP PLEASE."

"What's wrong, sister of Angel? I mean-- Olivia? What's wrong?" She said, sitting up straight and trying to look professional.

"I'm. Being." She grabbed Serenity by the shoulders. "COURTED."

The corners of Kelsi's mouth twitched.
"Courted?" she asked uncertainly.

"YES, KELSI. COURTED. USED THAT EXACT WORD TOO, HE DID."

"Who?"

She lowered her voice to a would-be haunting whisper. "Elddir..."

Serenity giggled. "Oh my god, Congratulations Olivia! In two to three years, the courtship turns into marriage... He's really hot now, you know!" She said, eyes sparkling.

"Well why don't you date 'im then. Because we all know my heart belongs to Diggory." She spun around for no apparent reason.

"Why doesn't Kelsi date him? My heart is bought, owned, and wrapped up in a package, mailed to Angel." Serenity said, turning around too. "Don't act like it's MY fault, Liv, it wasn't! I may have influenced him, a bit, with having you there when he snapped out of it.. Hehe!"

"Wot!?" Livi then started to fake-strangle her. "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!"
