Clocktower Courtyard

Lyn Liu who had disappeared earlier, but now returned, stared at him in surprise. HE HAD SAID A BAD WORD.

"What!?" snapped Draco, who was now rubbing his now bleeding nose.

So were Andrea and Carmen there. Andrea stared at Draco with a state of hilariousness on her face, she felt set to begin laughing her guts out.
Her eyebrows were raised, and she just stood there on the dirty pavement, lips twitching.


Carmen just watched him with a mildly interested look on her face, as if daring him to continue swearing and yelling.

Lyn than finally noticed the state of his nose, and she started to snicker. She had heard about how Draco feels about his nose, an well look! It had started to bleed yet again.

"WHAT ARE ALL YOU GUYS LAUGHING AT!?" he exclaimed.

Andrea had begun to snicker along with Lyn, but when he had yelled at them, she jumped in shock, and her grin faded from her face.


Carmen puffed out her chest, took a large step, and glared up at Draco with one eye closed, and her face all pinched up.
"DON'T YOU GO YELLING AT MY FRIENDS!" she puffed out at him.

Draco stared her down, glaring, while he rubbed his nose. "Well, what are YOU going to do about it firstie? Are you planning to take me on? If you are, forget about it! I jumped a kid my age earlier in the year, easily! If I could do that, I can EASILY beat you up!"

Carmen snickered.
"Oh please. If I didn't have to go to hogwarts, I would be a black belt right now!" she retorted. She seemed really confident about her stuff.

Draco stepped forward, his hands now in fists. "Common, why don't you don't you just try to hit me if you're so confident,"

Kathy, who was there as well, glared at Draco. That was her brother he was talking about.

"Sure,"

She raised her fist slowly, flexed her knuckles cautiously, and flung her arm up. The fist pounded against his jaw.

"OW!!" yelled Draco, who almost instantly grabbed his jaw and took a hold on it. "YOU BROKE IT!" With that, he quickly ran towards the direction of the Hospital Wing.


Lyn looked at Carmen in awe. "Wow, you really are good at fighting!" she said staring at her fist.

Carmen had a deadly look on her face, and the left corner of her mouth was raised up in a crude smile. Her arm was up in the air, like Buzz Light-year, or whatever his name is.

"Nah..." she turned around, rubbing her fist. Carmen really enjoyed attention, and was now beaming proudly at her successful punch. Surprisingly, she thought maybe he'd have hexed her or something, considering he did look pretty scary, but he's mostly just a wuss.


"Wow..." Andrea whispered.

"Hey, I forgot to ask you, guys," she pulled out a piece of parchment. "Did you guys finish the essay for Charms? I need help some help on it,"

Andrea admired Carmen, despite her being some attention-seeker. And she was her friend. They were all friends. Their own little group of friends, or something like that.

"Oh, I finished it. It was a bit hard, but I can help you. I think. Maybe. No, I can't. I think I'm going to get a bad grade on this one essay." Andrea said.

"Oh, darn it. I have no idea what to write for the last paragraph," said Lyn as she began to dig around in her bag for her a quill and some black ink.

"I'm sorry, Lyn." Andrea said regretfully, and looked through the courtyard for a place for them to settle down.

"Eh, I guess I will summarize everything," and she began to sum everything up in the last paragraph in her essay.

Kathy stayed quiet. She was in awe that Carmen had punched a fourth-year.

"Smart," Andrea said and found a spot across the yard. She motioned for them all, and ran across the yard to the table.

Kathrine went over, and sat across from Andrea. She took out her own essay. "I finished mine," she said.

Lyn sat down. "It's fine, thanks. I'm all done now," At the top corner of the page she quickly signed her essay with a flourish. "Do you think this is good?" she said handing the essay to them.

Andrea eyed it in exasperation. She then hid her face in her arms.
"I fail at Charms..." she groaned.

Carmen sat with them and pulled out a blank piece of parchment and a quill. Then she began to start writing down stuff. In a messy writing. Like, really messy.

"I wasn't offering for you to copy..." Kathy took the essay, and skimmed over it. "It looks good."

"Lyn, it's like, perfect. In my opinion. You're gonna get an O or something." Andrea's muffled voice emerged from within her arms.
