A random walkway

As the girls walked Amanda noticed the a hill. "Think I can be Mary Poppins with the umbrella and float?"

"No."

"Nope. 'u'"

"WATCH THE MAGIC THEN!" Amanda pulled an umbrella out of her bag. It was black and had red flowers on it. "HIYA!" With a running start, Amanda jumped off the hill path. She floated for 2 seconds, barely, and ended up on her feet.

"Fail."

"Your face is a fail."

"You were just lucky."

"I floated for two seconds ^-^." Amanda tried again, and fell flat on her butt.

"HAHA Now that's a fail."

"I agree completely." Amanda had quite a lot of mud and dirt on the butt of her pants now. She glared at it and got out her wand.

With a wave of her wand she clearly said, "Scourgify!" Her pants were now clean ^^.

Rachel appeared over. "You're lucky you're good at household chores charms. I'm not, really."

"ME NEITHER, RACHEL." Kelsi tackle-hugged her friend. And it was November.

Amanda was glancing at where the dirt had been just in case there was still some. "The only reason I can do that is I need it. Constantly. And need to practice it. Constantly."

"Ugh, it's freezing out here," said Rachel rubbing her arms. "Why don't we go inside? Have you guys ever been in the Ravenclaw tower before?"

Amanda pointed to her hair.

"Ooo, Can I come?"

"Sure, lets go!"

"But we're Hufflepuffs, we aren't allowed in the Ravenclaw tower," Libby stated.

Rachel shrugged. "I've been into Hufflepuff and Slytherin before. And, I never got caught." And she walked off towards the direction of the tower.

"Eh, it's never stopped anyone before. I've been in all the common rooms. You just can't make a big show if it." Amanda followed.

Antonio was leaning against the walkway staring angrily out to the fields of grass by the glistening black lake. He looked a bit relaxed, being her, and he seemed in a better mood than other times. Unfortunately, he had a helpless look to him, seemingly restless and bothered.

Karin suddenly appeared next to him. "Hey, is something wrong?" she asked gently.

"Oh. Great. Look, Karin, now's not the moment, okay? For once I'm happy in this whole freaking year."

"I was just wondering if you wanted to talk. Talking makes you feel better." she said serenely.
