A random walkway

"Of course! I'd love bangs. Do whatever you want with them. I just like the length, you know?"

"Sure, whatever you want," and, she took out a pair of scissors, (first she wet down the bangs) and began to cut them in an even, medium length.

"I really miss the days where we only had a few pages of homework a class. It's a little heavier this year, you know? We should hang out this summer. Maybe go shoe shopping!"

"Yeah. And next year is fifth year. And you know what that means? Do you have any idea of what you wanna be?"

"Well, I'm considering being a professional chef. I love cooking, but, I need some lessons. I don't know how to make some stuff. Or, I would really love to work in the ministry, maybe. I'm not that good at it, but it seems like a rewarding job. Or, if the need requires, I could always be a stay at home mom."

"I wanna be a dancer. Maybe ballet. Hmm," she looked at her face. "You don't need a base. You have good skin,"

"Oh thank you! I do have a little acne on my forehead, but you covered it up with the bangs. Or, it might have gone away.." Selia sounded hopeful, but didn't try to check- she didn't want to mess up Karin. "Dancing seems like a wonderful profession! You would be great. I could never do that."

"Yeah, I mean, dancing is so beautiful, and it looks like a lot of fun. You have greenish eyes, right?" asked Karin, as she began to look for a pink eyeshadow.

Twerp: *Cough* Rue *Cough*

"Dark green, yes. Eyeshadows are color coordinated in that drawer." Selia pointed.

"Thank you," and she pulled out a rose colored pink, and began to apply some on her eyes. "Green eyes are rare. And pink helps bring them out,"

"Oh, thank you~! Karin, I'm really sorry I cut your hair."

"It's fine. And, I actually kinda like it shorter. It doesn't always get in the way. But, I'm still going to grow it back out..."

"Of course. I loved your hair long, and I love it now, too. But it's just not the same."

"I agree completely. Can you close your eyes?" she asked, and she got out some brown eyeliner.

Selia obediently closed her eyes, not talking temporarily so she wouldn't mess up the liner.

"Alright, I'm done with that. You can open them now,"

Selia opened her eyes, blinking a bit. "So, for the costumes, we'll look great as maids. I love the idea of nearly the same costume, I just didn't want to pressure you into it if you didn't want to, you know?"

"No, I like the maid costume," she said, sweeping brown mascara on her eyelashes. "When I saw it, I knew I wanted it,"

"I had to think about it a bit, because it was a bit too frilly for me, I look better in something simple, like the angel costume, but then I saw the other version with just the apron, and I wanted it too."

"You have a much more simpler beauty about you. I have a more striking beauty." said Karin, a bit proudly.

"Oh, I don't like too many frills and things. I'm sure that's your style." Selia looked a little miffed at being called simple, but she got over it.

"Yeah, I love fancy things. I wish I could be surrounded around more of that,"

"Come over to my house. There's so many frills, sometimes I just want a plain white wall to look at."

"I'd love that. You can stare at my bedroom wall anytime. Except that it's yellow,"
