Train Compartment #7

"MEOW. MEOW. MEOW. MEWO. MEWO. MEOW. MEOW. MEOW."

The cats started hissing. There was a knock at the door. They all arched their backs, each one a different picture of anger, hissing more.
"Angel? I've got some cat food. It sounds like they're out. My stuff's still in there, can I get it?"

"Please do."

"Unlock the door," Serenity said, opening the can of food. Immediately, the cats jumped towards the door, clawing it.

"Uhm... It's kind of impossible, too many scratching biting felines."

Serenity sighed. "Cage, kittykittykittykitty!" She said, and the cats all obediently went and sat down in the cage. "Did they go in? I can't hear them anymore."

The door's lock clicked open. "Okay."

"You might want to sit down." Serenity, all in one quick movement, opened the door and threw the can of food against the far wall, where it hit the window and dropped to the floor, spilling out.
And in less than a second, her cats were on it, fighting and scratching and meowling and eating.
Serenity came in and sat down. "That was really mean of you." She said flatly.

He was trying to spot his book, which he had dropped among the chaos. "I don't believe you were invited back in."

"Shut up." Serenity said, not even batting an eye.
"I understand nobody has ever told you how to act. You've been good all your life, haven't you? There probably wasn't a reason to. But, contrary to what you seem, you're cruel and heartless. That. Was. Humiliating." Serenity tapped a nail on the table for attention. "They're still laughing at me."

"First of all, you need to learn some humility and that people don't always want to speak to you. Second, get out." Angel picked up the book. The cover was scratched up.

"I don't care if you don't want to speak with me. I was in here first. You're messed up if you think it's me annoying you. Well, it is now, but it wasn't earlier, because I was there first and you could've left if you wanted to. You haven't talked to me all year. All you do is read. And, I don't think I will. Don't try to pick me up again."

And so, Angel set the book on the table, picked Serenity up, and dropped her in the hallway again. And the cage full of kittens. And closed, then locked, the door.

Serenity sighed, and let loose her cats. They could come back later.

One of the cats, a little grey and white one named Stormy, went through the cat door and jumped on Angel.

Alas, there are no cat doors on the Hogwarts Express.

The cat simply pouted outside.
