Girl's Dorm

Serenity was up, getting her stuff all layed out. First, her comforter, just another layer between her and the cold. Her posters- mostly supermodels, but there was one of Taylor Swift. Then she set her trunk on the dresser, and let her cats out- they immediately got comfortable under her bed- and sat on said bed, looking around.

Rachel came up into the dorm, to find all her trunks and stuff already up there. "Goodie!" she said, and she began to slowly unpack all her stuff, starting with her shoes first.

"Hey, Racchie!"

Serenity stretched and yawned. "How ya feeling?"

Rachel was upstairs. She had finished brushing out her hair. (She decided to keep it down) And right now, she was 'putting on her face' so to speak.

Serenity was right next to her, putting eyeliner on.

"Cute eyeliner," she said as she applied some blush to her face.

"Thanks! Love that blush!"

A little piece of parchment was folded in an empty nook in the container of blush.

"This old stuff!? Oh, it's not much-hey, what's that?" and she grabbed the note and unrolled it.

"Oh, what's it say?"

"Well, lets see it." and she began to read it. (Amanda. o3o)

Serenity burst out laughing. "Haha! What a freak! Still, it's sweet. I wish someone would write me a love letter. You must be prettier... I'M GOING TO BE ON TOP OF MY GAME, RACHEL!"

Rachel look positively thrilled. "OOOH!! I'VE NEVER GOTTEN A LOVE LETTER BEFORE!" she studied the initials of the letter for a minute. "Do you know who L.F.F is by any chance?"

"I want a love letter." Serenity said, pouting. She gave up on her makeup and went over to sit on her bed. "I dunno who he is, either. Don't you like Nicholas?"

"Yeah, but getting a love letter is self esteem boosting, right?"

Serenity's shoulders slumped. "I want a love letter.." She mumbled again.

"It's a wonder you haven't gotten one before. You're a lot prettier then me, you know that? Like one of those Muggle models."

"Your hair is nicer. I want it to be Halloween, or at least Christmas, don't you?" She asked, changing the subject. She kept shooting that letter dirty looks, though.

"Of course it's not nicer! You can't wear certain colors with red hair, especially pink, and it's such a nice color! And, Halloween would be nice. The feast is always fun, but I don't know if I'll dress up or not."

"I most certainly am!"

"Oooh, as what?"

"Aphrodite, greek goddess of luuuuurve!"
