Girl's Dorm

Serenity sent an owl off, looking considerably tired from writing the letter.

Serenity waited around.

Maybe he'd torn it up. Maybe he wouldn't read it.
"It's hopeless," she mumbled.

Rachel suddenly came stomping upstairs. Her hair looked all tangled up, and she had just thrown it up into a ponytail, and her clothes seemed to be put on rather hastily and messily. She flopped down onto the bed, burying her entire face into her pillow without saying a word.

SAY RP KELS'S CATCH PHRASE. SAY IT. ]

"Whoah! Rachel, Rachel! What the hell happened? You look- you look like you got raped! What happened?!" Serenity immediately rushed over to her bed.

"No, nothing..." And she groaned and hit her head on the bedpost.

"RACHEL!" Serenity grabbed her friend's shoulder. "Rachel. Stop. Something happened. You're freaking out! Tell me, immediately. Did you break up with Nick?"

"NO! WE DID NOT! And please leave me alone."

Serenity frowned, but backed off.
Then a thought occurred to her.
"DID YOU HAVE SEX WITH HIM!?!"

"WHAT WOULD GIVE YOU THAT IDEA?!" she screamed rather sarcastically.

"OH MY GOD!" Serenity screamed, holding her head in horror. "OH MY GOD! RACHEL! RAAAAAAAAACHEL!!!!!"

"Shuddup. You're giving me a headache. Or an even bigger one then I already have." she groaned again. "Erugh, it was my fault, kinda..."

"Knowing you, you probably raped him."
She froze.
"You used protection, right? You're on birth control? You used a condom?"

"No no no I didn't! It's against my religion to prevent the birth of children! It's apart of being a Catholic! Besides, I counted the days... it won't happen..." And she groaned again and hit her head on a pillow.

"RACHEL! IT CAN STAY ON THERE FOR WEEKS AND WEEKS AND WEEKS! I READ IT IN A SEX BOOK!" She blushed, but apparently wasn't concerned about her secret.

"WELL IT WON'T HAPPEN TO ME!" she screamed back.

"Naive! NAIVE! YOU'RE GOING TO GET KNOCKED UP. OH MY GOD." Serenity went over and freaked out in her own corner.

"SERENITY!" Rachel screamed, and she ran over beside Serenity, and grabbed her by the shoulders as firmly as she could and stared right at her in the eye, looking the most serious as she's ever been. "You cannot, and I mean CANNOT tell ANYONE, NOT ANYONE about this!"

"I'm not stupid," Serenity said, looking right back at her. "I won't tell a soul."

"Promise?"

"I promise. But.... I packed myself three pregnancy tests. Use them if you need to- they're in my personal bag." She looked a little embarrassed about that too. "I was just thinking.. If I did do something.. you know."

"Well, stay the way you are and be a good girl." she grumbled.
