Second Floor Hallway

Karin ran into the fray, desperately hoping and pleading that she would find someone's wand that they had dropped or lost.

"IMPERIO!" Serenity shouted, turning around and trying to aim while running.

It missed again. Niether of the girls have good aim, eh?

Lauran stopped for moment. "Sectumsempra!" It hit Karin. Directly in the stomach. Laura stared at her, "You will died for a good cause." She continued running.

"STOP. JUST, STOP." Serenity screamed, turning around and pointing her wand at Laura. "I will kill you. I don't care how many times you try to kill me, but I will cut you up into little pieces and then I will burn them. So I suggest you leave. Now."

Laura shrilly laughed. "Incendio!" Sere's shoe caught on fire. She turned running.

Laura ran as fast she could. She realized that she had to go after Serenity when she was weaker.

"AAAGH!" screamed a tortured Karin, as she felt the very unpleasant sensation of blood and all sorts of fluids coming out of her stomach.

"Hel-help..." she tried to call out to a passerby, but no one seemed to listen to her. Everyone was too chaotic, and her voice was too quiet and weak. She couldn't get up and move to help herself.

"Isn't this just great... I'm about do die in the greatest Battle there ever was. And I didn't do anything to help...

Karin just laid there on the ground, reflecting. Really, as she thought about it, her life was very crappy. A strict childhood, leading up to the the beginning of Hogwarts. The first couple years was great; happy with the group. She helped brighten up Eric's life. And then, she had to go ruin it. Leave the people who cared her for the perils of popularity. Look at what had that done. She destroyed all her friendships, just the sake for a boy. A stupid boy, who was nothing but an abusive jerk in the long run.

"No Karin, don't think that! You don't want to die thinking about thoughts like that! So she forced herself to cheer up.

Maybe she DID have a good life. She helped strengthen friendship bonds through her group. She brought pleasure to Antonio's life. And really, aside from all the drama, school was fun. She had a good life! And now, after all that crap, she was going into peace! This was great!

And so Karin slipped into the welcoming arms of Death, with a smile on her face.

"THESE ARE EXPENSIVE, BITCH!" Serenity screamed, and shot the bat bogey curse at Laura. "Aguamentai." She muttered, pouring it over her shoes. "Ouchh.."
