Second Floor Hallway

Serenity was walking around, whistling still. She had her wand out, and was just wandering, frowning. This had to be some kind of test. Harry Potter was dead, wasn't he? Or missing. She hadn't seen him with her own eyes, and quite frankly, she didn't believe it.

The first of the intruder's appeared near her, lurking in the shadows. Their hood was completely covering their face, but from under it they were smiling. This will be fun.

Serenity screamed and backed away from the person. "Go away! Stupefy!" She screamed, shooting the spell at him.

The spell knocked the hood down, revealing the Cheshire Cat grin of Laura Farefield.

"Do I know you?" Serenity asked, keeping her wand held out. "You look really familiar."

"I attemped to steal your robot of a boyfriend in fourth year? But you sent your friends after me."

"Oh yeah, that was fun. Good times. I was going to rip your face off, too.. I suppose I get a second chance."

"Like I'm giving you a chance? Crucio!" The red light shot at Serenity.

Serenity screamed and ducked. "What the hell are you doing!?"

"You were always pretty stupid! Crucio!" This one when flying next to Serenity's ear. "The Dark Lord and his loyal servants, including me, are going to invade the castle and kill all of you if Harry Potter doesn't give himself up by midnight that is. But hey, no one will care if I kill you." Laura aimed her wand at herself, casting the disillusionment charm*, which made her seem almost invisible. [Normally it's transparent, but the candle lighting of the school helps.]

"Well, we have more people than you," Serenity said, looking around frantically. "And if you were smart, you would know that invisibile people can get run over by crowds." And then Serenity was running away, down the stairs and onto the first floor, where all the people were running around. She felt sort of safer surrounded by people.

Laura sighed, "You're only running from the inevitable!" She followed Serenity running at full speed, but tiring quickly, and so she shot the killing curse at her back.

Unfortunately, it hit Colin Creevey, a random small boy who was jumping around excitedly. "Oh, that's just a bitchy thing to do," Serenity said, glaring at Lin. "He's just a kid!"

[NOOOOOOOO!]

[[Seriously, Steph? That casual? Poor Collin...]]

[J.K Rowling was even more casual with it.]

Laura shrugged. "If you didn't try and run, he wouldn't be dead. AVADA KEDARVA!"

[[No she wasn't. .___.]]

[she totally pushed him.]

[HE WAS THE FIRST TO DIE. HE WAS NUMBER ONEEE]

Serenity, as soon as Laura started talking, was running around again, trying to think. Should I really use what they taught us in those horrible classes? Is it right? Oh, damn, whatever. She's trying to kill me She turned around and pointed her wand right at Laura. "Imperio!" She shouted, closing her eyes and hoping it hit her. Or even worked.

[[I'M HOPING SO TOO. T___T]]

And it missed. By a centimeter. But it gave Serenity extra time to run because Laura dropped to the ground, eyes shut. But she still got right back up and continued the chase.

"Damn it, can't I just push her out a window?" Serenity mumbled, turning down a hallway. "Why is it always me? Why can't I just have stayed home during break.."

Laura kept chasing her. This is fun. I killed the first of the historical battle, and am about to kill her. "Avada Kedavra!"
