Small Cottage

A rather scrawny lass was standing there, looking quite cross. She looked Serenity over, her beady brown eyes narrowing slightly. "Who are you?"

Serenity didn't take too kindly to being woken up and being asked who she was in her own home. "Excuse me, who the hell are you? You're the one ringing my doorbell."

She had her short brunette hair cropped short, emphasizing her rather round face. "Yes, well. Is Elroy Astor here? Or is he still in that slum?"

"He's here." Serenity said. "But he's asleep. How do you know him?"

"That's none of your business!" she snapped. "Wake him up!"

"No, I'm not going to wake him up!" Serenity said, looking exasperated. "You show up at my house early in the morning with no reason to talk to Elroy and boss me around- get lost!"

"Ugh!" The woman pushed past Serenity, marching down the hall and kicking a door in. Unfortunately, it was a closet. So, she moved on to the next one, which was indeed Elroy's. "Wake up, dumbass!"

Serenity decidedly did not like this girl. "Alright, you little bitch, get the fuck out of here now, before I hurt you!" She shouted, going over to the woman.

"Like you could!" she retorted.

Elroy groggily sat up. "What? What..."

"I beg to differ," Serenity said, making a fist. "Now, let's see here. You're trespassing, I think that could count as breaking and entering, and you won't even tell me who the hell you are. How can I sue you?"

"Irene?"

"You let me in!" she protested, before turning back to Elroy. "Good, you're awake! Where the FUCK is my child support!?"

"... What are you talking about?"

Serenity rubbed her forehead. "Okay. I'm done with this. You're the psycho bitch that Elroy got pregnant." She glared at the woman- after what she had heard about Irene, aside from having an ugly name, trespassing, and being a downright.. Remember chapter five of those random laws, the one with Mr. Rustemer.. "If you say one more word, I am going to take a frying pan and freaking kill you." So much for legal terms.

"You said not to bother," Elroy mumbled.

"Speak up!"

"You said not to send anything!"

"I meant letters and shit like that! You know we've been living off of scraps for the past month?" Which, of course, was a lie.

"Well, I'm sorry, I misunderstood!"

"Misunderstood nothing!"

Serenity, for a while, gave up on her screaming, and just watched the argument. Why does this loony get to have a child? Why does she get to have Elroy's kid? She wanted to have a little baby, a sweet girl, or an adorable boy.. Serenity, being a bit simple, decided to voice her thoughts.
"Why is she allowed to have kids?" She asked Elroy, frowning. "I want to have kids. Why did you even have sex with her in the first place? She's practically deformed.."

They both looked at Serenity. Elroy was dumbstruck for the moment.

"DEFORMED!?" Irene bellowed.

"Yeah, that haircut looks horrible." Serenity said. "And your face is too fat. Have you ever tried those chin pumpers you see on commercials?"

Irene then leapt onto Serenity and began to beat the shit out of the poor girl.

Serenity wasn't doing so well- being on the bottom of a catfight was not something you wanted to do. She just kept screaming, trying to shake Irene off. Somewhere in there, she got a couple of good scratches in- after all, her nails were pretty long- but, other than the face scratch that looked like it came from a rabid cat and a couple of other scratches and kicks to Irene, Serenity was doing pretty badly.

Growing up in a family of ten siblings really did things for your wrestling skills. Irene was gonna make sure that this blonde bitch was gonna regret that little remark by the time she'd finished with her.

Serenity eventually decided that this qualified as justified self-defense, and pulled her wand out of her nightgown pocket. "Pertificus Tortalus!" She shouted, trying to keep the wand away from Irene in case she broke it.

"Did that girl just shoot me with a twig? FUCK, SHE'S ONE OF THEM TOO, AAAA---"

And thus, Irene was frozen.

"Y-You bitch!" Serenity shouted at Irene. Unfortunately for Serenity, Irene did hit like a professional. Her face was starting to bruise up, and she was sporting a bloody lip, and there were probably several other bruises on her limbs and torso. She stood up, kicking Irene in a satisfactory way before going into her room, not starting to cry until the door had closed.

Elroy didn't really feel comfortable being in the same room as the paralyzed Irene. What if the spell wore off? He got out of bed, gingerly stepped over her body, and joined Serenity in the hall. He looked rather awkward. It was strange, considering who he was.

"You... You get her out of here." Serenity said to Elroy, purposely not meeting his eyes while looking for a warm washrag. "Please. And go get some bread while you're at it, we're out." She was still crying, and she couldn't find that damn washrag. A pan clattered onto the floor, taking a second one with it, and Serenity cringed.

Serenity stared at the pots and pans, and started bawling again. She made her way over to a barstool and sat down, just sobbing.
