Defense Against the Dark Arts

"But Ma'am, I have a writing issue and must use my quill."

*ominous music*

She stared at her for a minute, and than continued to smile that menacing smile. She than whispered, in a deadly tone to her, "And what kind of issue would that be?"

"Well you see, my hand has this very odd twisting issue of whenever I grip something like a quill. My hand twists up and I have to be in the Hospital Wing for a week! I happened during First Year, and a teacher suggested I use this here quill that was made for the grip issue."

"...I don't believe. You start writing with my quill. Now!" she said icily.

Amanda stared at the quill and calmly said, "I am sorry. But, I am serious."

"Write, or I shall inform the Headmaster."

"Yes Ma'am." Amanda sat down and took the wuill, bringing it close to herself. Being the clutz she is, she dropped it, but it was okay. Silently, she leaned down to get it. At that time, she swapped her quill and Umbridge's, thy looked almost identical. "Sorry."

"Excuse me, Miss Potter. But MY quills don't require the use of ink. They require... something else, so to speak." She said, her smile growing more larger than ever.

"o-o Then why in the world was there a ink bo-- nevermind then." Amanda began to write with ease with her quill.

(There wasn't Amanda.)

Amanda, after two hundred lines looking up at Umbridge asked, "Can I stop?"

"Let me see your hand,"

Amanda, showed her her hand, which had not a single cut on it because she used her wn quill.

Professor Umbridge stared at her hand with a surprised look on her face, and it was pale as well. She than turned to look at Amanda, color coming back into her face, and it was turning bright, angry red. "You didn't use my own quill pen, didn't you?"

"I did Ma'am. I guess because of my hand issue I was able to be tortued and abused by the minstries worker."

Professor Umbridge than got up, and slowly leaned her face and front of Amanda's, staring at her, with a cold, mean, deadly stare right at her.

She than exploded.

"YOU LITTLE BRAT! YOU DID NOT USE MY QUILL, I SAW YOU USING INK! I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU TO THE HEADMASTER!"

Amanda grinned a little bit and said in a calm voice, "All do respects, I'm much taller than you, so I a little confused by the term of 'little'. I guess us Potter's just know how to make you tick enough not to think about certain things..."

Professor Umbridge than, with rather sharp movements, rummaged through her desk. "That's it! I swear I am going to get you expelled! One less Potter in this school, the better!" And she began to write furiously on a rather official looking bright piece of an ugly shade of pink colored parchment.
