Potions Class

Olivia's potion turned jade green. "Drat... That's great, Pansy."

"I know, right!?" she said carelessly mashing up the dragon dung. "And he has the most gorgeous blonde hair... and soft skin... and grey eyes..."

Rachel stared blankly at her own dung. She than whispered to Amanda. "Hey Amanda! I'll pay you ten sickles if you grind up my dung for me! I swear!"

"What about his hair in first year?" She stared at the dragon dung like it was something nasty - Which, it was. How the heck would someone get this anyway?

"Oh, it was all slicked back and shiny," she said dreamily. "Just like now, of course," Insert a giggle here.

"No Ray. Good try." Amanda threw in the second dung thing. Amanda put in three cups of dragon's blood.

Katie got out all of her ingredients and began mixing. She touched the dragon dung with her bare hands and slipped it in. She stirred and stirred.

"Darn you..." she than poked Nicolas at the table behind her. "Hey, Nicolas! I'll play you ten sickles if you grind up my dung for me! And, I'll throw in a free kiss too!" she said, waving a bag of money in the air.

"It looked pretty... weird." She started grinding the dragon dung, mumbling "Ew" over and over.

Amanda waited for it to stew? XD

Libby, despite all the conversation around her, stayed quiet, focusing on getting the potion to end up right.

"No, I don't want to grind up any more dung than I have to. Get someone else to do it," Nicolas told her.

Pansy gasped as she poured in the dragon blood. "Don't say that! It was gorgeous!" she glared over at Harry Potter. "It looked much nicer than Potter's hair anyway!"

"But I'm your girlfriend!" whined Rachel.

"Instead of wasting time asking people to do it for you, why don't you do it yourself?" Nicolas asked, continuing to work on his potion.

"Fine," said Rachel, and she got to work grinding her dung up, grumbling.

"Truth!" She had switched to grinding the hippogriff dung; it wasn't as rancid.

"Do YOU like anyone?" she asked, flashing her a cat like smile at Olivia.

Katie's potion turned a brownish green, but it looked a tad more brown than green. She looked at her notes to see what was wrong. "Oh!", she thought. She forgot the rat's tail. She added the rat's tail and she stirred again.

Nicolas had a blonde moment, and started grinding the dung and such without putting his gloves on. Oh well, he could stop at the bathroom on the way to his next class and wash his hands.

"Shut up." She dropped the dung into the cauldron.

Amanda flung the rat tail in. Then the five catipillars from a monarch butterfly. Then she began to grind the spider legs.

"What?"

Rachel was now at the final stage, stewing her potion, and she was frowning at it because it was currently a gross brown color. "Common!" she said hissing at it. "Turn green already!" she turned to Katie and sighed. "How do some people do it?"

After adding the legs, Amanda followed the rest of the steps, ending up at the final one because the author is laaazy. We was nearing the last two minutes, smiling how it was going more green than brown.

"Time's up," announced Professor Snape. "Clean up your work station, wash your hands, and pour some of your potion in a bottle and cork it, and leave it up on my desk. Homework tonight is too write a ten inch essay on the advantages of making your own plant growing potion."

The first thing Rachel did was run up to the sink, so she could wash her hands first.

"Move over!" she said pushing a random Hufflepuff out of the way.

"Five points from Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff for fighting."

"Bleh,"

Amanda flicked out her wand, smiling slightly. "Aquamenti. Scourgify." With her hands now magically very clean, Amanda began to bottle her potion.

Katie walked up to the sink, waiting in line to wash her hands. Once she washed then dried them, she cleaned her are a up. She put some of the potion in a bottle then corked it, leaving it on the professor's desk. She got her items and waited for Rachel.

Amanda dropped of her corked potion on his desk, cleaned her area, got her stuff and left for, HERBOLGY?! =)
