Potions Class

"..." Amanda looked up at Rachel for a minute and cotinued, "I just had gotten up."

"...Did you just get up late again or something?"

"I got up at a normal time."

Katie stopped and looked up and rubbed her hand. It hurt like crap. She went back to writing notes.

Rachel than poked Katie with her quill pen. "Katie? You know class hasn't started yet, right?"

"I know," Katie said, "But I love potions, so I'm working extra hard. I think I'll draw the possible outcome." Katie started wo work with her pencil know, they were one. She drew a cauldron, and what would be in it, and what wouldshe use on the side on a little mat.

"Oh, well, that's good that you like it. Personally, I don't like this class much at all. The only thing I find rewarding like Serenity said earlier is making pretty colors. And, I'm not a good artist like you, either."

Amanda stared at her empty cauldron, trying to figure out if she could somehow get some more sleep. She actually had enough but it didn't feel like it.

"If you want to become an artist, then you have to practice. That's all I did was practice. I think i'll take this class next year, I like it."

"I know, but I'm already busy with guitar and uh... other things." By other things, she meant her friends and Nicolas. "And, I dunno what classes I should take next year, because I have no idea what I wanna be yet."

Amanda went crossed at the cauldron now, trying to stop herself from falling asleep. Or at least, in THIS class.

Rachel gave Amanda a sharp jab with her quill. "Wake up! Try to stay awake!"

Olivia kept staring.

Libby was, like, taking notes and stuff. Because this was sparta her favorite class (or one of them), she paid attention and didn't talk a lot like her friends did.

Amanda continued staring at the cauldron.

And Snape wasn't even there. o3o

"Ech.... I dunno why I feel so tired."

Professor Snape suddenly swept out of the storage room, in his dark, bat like manner. He than glared around at the class. And said "Quiet down." without even yelling or anything.

And of course, Rachel immediately stopped talking.

Amanda leaned all the way back in her chair, really getting annoyed about the lighting.

Liv snapped out of it and looked at Snape.

Amanda just stared at him with sleepy, but wide, eyes.

"Five points for Slytherin, for paying so well attention," he said, giving Olivia a slight nod. "And today," he waved his wand to the board, and suddenly directions on the board appeared. "We're going to make a potion, that helps make plants grow properly. Follow the directions, and everything you need is in the storeroom or cupboards. You may begin now."

And, he sat down.

"Also," said Snape, without looking up from his papers. "You may want to wear your protective gloves when handling the dragon dung,"

"Ewwww..." said Rachel softly.

Libby glanced at the ingredients listed on the board, put on her gloves, and went over to the cupboard to get them. After getting all of the ingredients at her desk, she began to follow the instructions on the board.

Olivia made the face, then joined the mass procession to the storeroom and cupboards.
