Potions Class

Libby finished her potion, and like Mandy's, it was more green than brown. She scooped some of it into a bottle, packed her stuff up, and set the bottle on Snape's desk. She washed her hands, and left.

Nicolas, instead of fighting through the crowd to get the sink, gathered his stuff, put his potion bottle on Snape's desk, and went off to the boys' bathroom.

"Coming Katie!" said Rachel waving over at her, and she quickly corked some of the potion, packed up her things, and left it on the desk. "Man, it looks like another failed Potion for me... and that stupid essay, too!"

"Come on, let's go to Herbology," Katie said, draging Rachel by the arm.

Liv looked at her potion, which was still stewing. "Damn..."

"Hey, you're stealing my thing!" said Rachel, pretending to be offended. "I'm supposed to drag people by the arms!"

"Don't worry Olivia!" said Pansy cheerfully while she cleaned up her work station. "You always do pretty good in Potions. I'm sure Professor Snape will excuse you just this once!"

Liv sighed. "I hope." She raised her hand.

"Yes Miss Illumination?"

"Err, my potion isn't done stewing..."

"You're excused this. But next time, it must be completed."

"See, I told you!"

"Thank you." Liv smiled and started cleaning up.. "I think we missed Herbology, Pansy."

"Professor Snape? Can we have an excuse for missing Herbology, since we were in here?" asked Pansy, politely.

"Yes, Miss Parkinson."

"There we go," she whispered.

"I love Slytherin." She picked up her books and left. "Now what?"

"Uh, well, I have a free period right now. If you do, we can go for a walk or something."

"Oh, sure."

"OK, lets go then!" And Pansy grabbed her arm and dragged Olivia off. "There's a ton I need to tell you about me and Draco's summer together..."

She blinked. "Great!"
