Welcoming Feast

Serenity was biting her napkin.

AND DA FOOD WAS SERVED.

Amanda neatly set a napkin on her lap. Then, picked out some food near by. Quickly her plate was filled with two small strips of fried cod, three buffalo chicken wings, and some chicken salad to the side with lemon juice sprinkled on it. As neatly as she could, Amanda took a large bite out of a wing. The result, some sauce on her face.

"I don't see how," she said, swirling the pudding around her plate.

Lin sat beside Olivia, then plainly interuppted them, "Olivia is just a beast, that's how she doesn't care."

Serenity was tearing into an entire set of barbeque ribs and a bowl of fries- the only difference from a regular barbeque dinner was the fact she had half the pig's ribcage in front of her, and the other half she would glare at anyone who tried to take a piece until they backed off. And when the author says tearing, they mean tearing it apart, smothering it in barbeque sauce, and eating it maniacally.

"Don't speak for me."

Lin blinked for a bit before she said a word. "I was just joking around. They seem so cute and surprised about it."

The girls stared at Olivia. "How come you don't care if you die?!" Dolly snapped.


Kelsi devoured into a plate of fried potatos and a huge, juicy steak. She had stuffing and sauce and zhuccini gratin. Delicious vegetable stew was in a bowl, and another bowl held seasoned pumpkin soup.

"... I don't know. I just don't... My life's been fine so far, and I could care less about what happens after school, I guess..."

Serenity made a vicious battle call noise, and stuck her entire head into the bowl of potato soup.

[[... Wow, Serenity.]]


The two girls spun around, so their backs were facing Lin and Olivia. Then they were whispering in hushed tones. Both spun back around smiling darkly. "That's interesting. Well, we're not scared either." They both grinned cutely.

[I did that once. It was entertaining.]
She came back up for air- no more soup. She traded it out for French Onion.

"You're too young to think that way. You're what, ten?"

[[Really?! ]]

"Eleven. You have to be eleven to get into this school. Besides..." they both suddenly looked very creepy. "Our innocence went downhill a few years ago when the incident happened..."

[YEA. MY HAIR WAS PULLED BACK, SO IT DIDN'T DAMAGE ME OR ANYTHING, BUT IT TASTED SO MUCH BETTER.]

Serenity finished eating and nearly fell over.

"Uh... huh..." Olivia ate a spoonful of pudding.

"But, other than that, Hogwarts seems like a rather exciting school! Dolly, we ought to eat something!"

Dolly silently took some soup, and served some for her sister. They both sipped their soup in unison.

"It is."

Molly looked up from her soup. "Do... do you want to know the incident...?" she asked. It was the first time she talked. Her voice was extremely soft and quiet, and very creepy. It was nothing like Dolly's high, chirpy voice. Molly's was very breathy and cold. It was almost a whisper.

"... Sure."

Molly set her spoon down, she took both her eyes and bored them into Olivia's. "In science class, we dissected an owl pellet. Oh, by the way, we went to a muggle school for a few years. When we came home, we wanted to do it again. Wanting to try it on something bigger, we did it on our baby owl." she said very softly and quietly.

"... Okay ..."

Dolly nodded. "Coming here, we'll be spending a lot of time at the Owlery."

"... Well ... uh ... I suggest to avoid being sued, keep it to the school owls."

"Who said we were going to do owls?"
